Community groups are a helpful way to grow deeper in your faith. It is within these small communities that men and women can express their doubts, ask their questions, build personal relationships and practice applying the gospel to their lives.
At Immanuel we would define a Community group as a supervised group (usually 4-12 people) who meet regularly for the purpose of studying God’s Word, caring for one another, praying, and furthering the vision of IFBC.
Our groups meet in homes throughout the city. All groups are led by trained leaders who attend Immanuel and who receive continued oversight and support from pastoral staff. Groups generally meet two to four times per month. Many groups also participate in hangout times and service projects (ways of helping in the church and community).
Our hope and prayer is that everyone at Immanuel would be part of a Community Group!!
